How to catch bagon in pokémon emerald

I’m playing Kaizo Emerald for the first time and Glacia is destroying me. I’m stuck, and I’m trying to figure out a way how to get past her.

Here’s who I’ve got:
– Tatsumaki (Gardevoir)
– Blazin (Blaziken)
– Cash Money (Whiscash, HM slave)
– Walreign (Walrein)
– Buffet (Wobbuffet)
– Reina (Nidoqueen)

She crushes me with Hidden Power and the freakin rain. I’m trying to beef up my team and give it another go: I got a Sassy Bagon and am looking for one or more of the following: Larvitar, Dratini, Beldum, and TM 24 Thunderbolt (the Mauville game corner is bugged, as said by machinafortress666).

Anybody know where Dratini, Larvitar, Beldum, and TM24 are? Looking at the comments above, it seems a Dragonite, Tyranitar, or a Metagross would be solid additions and I want to find them. I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!!

your best bet for dratini is going to be fishing it with the super rod at meteor falls BF2 R2, 40% chance of dragonair and 5% of dratini there with the super rod, make sure to bring a suction cups (cradily line or octillery) because fishing sucks. In the same room you can find larvitar with 1% on the ground, bring something with sweet scent and make sure to use some save states when you find one. Beldum is on route 115, you’re gonna need surf to reach him, you can also find metang there

EDIT: Just got tm24 thunderbolt, remember how new Mauville was locked because of the Pekachu (yes, Pekachu)? After beating the E4 it won’t be blocking the button anymore and you’ll be able to do the things there and get t-bolt from wattson, so yeah no way to use it before becoming champion

Yes, same thing in here, instead of draco meteor I find white herb

Maybe there was an update in the patch?

I wrote down the puzzles and some other minor difference between vanilla Emerald and Kaizo but never got around to linking it.

Oh man I wish I had seen this before drawing both invisible wall puzzles on paper, took a very long time lol

Maybe there was an update in the patch?

There are, or at least there were, two Draco Meteors. One at Fallarbor Town which I previously linked and one at the end of the Trickhouse.

On March 14th, SHF published the latest patch to Emerald Kaizo, and according to page 7 in this thread he said: "Items have moved". Evidently this includes the TM32 at Fallarbor so those who got the ROM after March 14th now find a White Herb instead.

Hi everyone! Really enjoyed this Hackrom, it made Emerald quite a new and fun experience!
Here are some of the things I noticed and wanted to share:
1 Sableye. Oh, my, gosh. I think it’s a bit too strong in many ways.. Stats wise I can see its speed crippling it a bit, but even with paralyzis this thing still takes out entire teams with just shadowball/shadow sneak combo.. I love to see a powerfull sableye all around but 10 less in every stats is albeit required for balance

2 Explosion. Well it’s just me or a Electrode ohko my relaxed swampert every single time has something strange to it? It has been made like 1st Gen where it used to halve the foe’s defence before hitting?

3 Catch Rates. Some of them, and just some appear at least to me to be slightly too low. I catch a full life wild Feraligatr with a ultraball, and cannot catch a Dodrio with an insane amount of safariballs, like, I’ve had to use savestates, no joke.. I get that it has to be a difficult hack but this is not even about it, maybe some catch rates needs to be adjusted?

I love this hack in a lot of aspects, but really can’t get to the no ev train thing tho..

Sometimes, our team is just not complete without a Salamence.

You can also find Bagon in a Rocky Cave, Dazzling Cave, or the Stargleam Cavern in the Grand Underground.

If you own Brilliant Diamond, however, you have no choice but to trade with a player who has Shining Pearl. You can trade Pokémon at the upper and lower levels of the Pokémon Center then later on by pressing Y.

Best nature and moves for Bagon and Salamence

Bagons should ideally be captured with an Adamant or Jolly nature. Both sacrifice Sp. Attack for Attack and Speed, respectively. This is so that you can maximize Salamence’s stats and power output. Some of the best moves to consider for Salamence are Dragon Dance, Dragon Tail, Dragon Claw, and Draco Meteor.
